HEAVEN N HELL TWO SIDES OF COIN ....

A Holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said, "Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like." The Lord led the Holy man to two doors. He opened one of the doors and the Holy man looked in. In the middle of the room was a large round table.

In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew which smelled delicious and made the Holy man's mouth water.

The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished.

They were holding-spoons with very long handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful, but because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.

The Holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering. The Lord said, "You have seen Hell."

They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one.

There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the Holy man's mouth water.

The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking.

The Holy man said, "I don't understand."

"It is simple" said the Lord, "it requires but one skill.

You see, they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves."

HOW EMOTIONAL U R WITH STRONG MEMORY ??

This test was given to group of 80 psychology students by Dr.Charles Winick,of the psychology department of Queens College, New York City. What does test prove?Basically it will show how sentimental you are,and how good your memory is. Rustle up a pencil and make a check mark after every question that you can answer.......

1.What was the name of your third grade teacher?

2.What did you have for dinner last Tuesday?

3.When did you go on the first train trip you took without a grownup?

4.What was your telephone number before the present one?

5.What did you do on your twenty first birthday?

6.What was the name of the first person you were introduced to most recent?

7.What was the name of the person you went alone?

8.What was the first book you read outside the school?

9.Who was the first acquaintance you met when you left your home yesterday morning?

10.What was the theme of the last sermon you heard?

11.What was the name of the last leading character(not the actor's real name) in the last movie you saw?

12.What was the name of the last novel you read?

13.Do you remember how much income tax you paid last year?

14.What suit or dress did you wear last Thursday?

15.What was your first favorite song?

On the basis of student test results,if you answered 13 or more questions you are really tops in your class. Not only do you have a remarkable memory, but you are probably the kind of sentimentalist who loves family reunions, and you may even keep track of all your friends' birthdays so you can send them cards.

If you remembered 11 to 12 items, you are well above average. You probably lean to nostalgia and like stories and pictures of the "good old days".

Nine to ten answers would mark you average and well-adjusted. Seven to eight answers indicate a more hard headed type, eager to get ahead and not caring much about giving or receiving presents.

Less than seven answers puts you in the absent-minded-professor class. You might be able to explain nuclear fission,if you could only find your spectacles which are on top of your head.

LOVE OF TEACHER .....

Story of Mrs Thompson (School Teacher)

There is a story many years ago of an elementary teacher. Her name was Mrs. Thompson. And as she stood in front of her 5th grade class on the very first day of school, she told the children a lie. Like most teachers, she looked at her students and said that she loved them all the same.

But that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard. Mrs. Thompson had watched Teddy the year before and noticed that he didn't play well with the other children, that his clothes were messy and that he constantly needed a bath. And Teddy could be unpleasant. It got to the point where Mrs. Thompson would actually take delight in marking his papers with a broad red pen, making bold X's and then putting a big "F" at the top of his papers.

At the school where Mrs. Thompson taught, she was required to review each child's past records and she put Teddy's off until last. However, when she reviewed his file, she was in for a surprise.

Teddy's first grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is a bright child with a ready laugh. He
does his work neatly and has good manners. He is a joy to be around."

His second grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is an excellent student, well liked by his classmates, but he is troubled because his mother has a terminal illness and life at home must be a struggle."

His third grade teacher wrote, "His mother's death has been hard on him. He tries to do his best but his father doesn't show much interest and his home life will soon affect him if some steps aren't taken."

Teddy's fourth grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is withdrawn and doesn't show much interest in school. He doesn't have many friends and sometimes sleeps in class."

By now, Mrs. Thompson realized the problem and she was ashamed of herself. She felt even worse when her students brought her Christmas presents, wrapped in beautiful ribbons and bright paper, except for Teddy's. His present which was clumsily wrapped in the heavy, brown paper that he got from a grocery bag.

Mrs. Thompson took pains to open it in the middle of the other presents. Some of the children started to laugh when she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stones missing, and a bottle that was one quarter full of perfume. But she stifled the children's laughter when she exclaimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on her wrist.

Teddy Stoddard stayed after school that day just long enough to say, "Mrs. Thompson, today you smelled just like my Mom used to." After the children left she cried for at least an hour. On that very day, she quit teaching reading, and writing, and arithmetic. Instead, she began to teach children.

Mrs. Thompson paid particular attention to Teddy. As she worked with him, his mind seemed to come alive. The more she encouraged him, the faster he responded. By the end of the year, Teddy had become one of the smartest children in the class and, despite her lie that she would love all the children the same, Teddy became one of her "teacher's pets."

A year later, she found a note under her door, from Teddy, telling her that she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life. Six years went by before she got another note from Teddy. He then wrote that he had finished high school, third in his class, and she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life.

Four years after that, she got another letter, saying that while things had been tough at times, he'd stayed in school, had stuck with it, and would soon graduate from college with the highest of honors. He assured Mrs. Thompson that she was still the best and favorite teacher he ever had in his whole life.

Then four more years passed and yet another letter came. This time he explained that after he got his bachelor's degree, he decided to go a little further. The letter explained that she was still the best and favorite teacher he ever had. But now his name was a little longer - the letter was signed, Theodore F. Stoddard, M.D.

The story doesn't end there. You see, there was yet another letter that spring. Teddy said he'd met this girl and was going to be married. He explained that his father had died a couple of years ago and he was wondering if Mrs. Thompson might agree to sit in the place at the wedding that was usually reserved for the mother of the groom. Of course, Mrs. Thompson did. And guess what? She wore that bracelet, the one with several rhinestones missing. And she made sure she was wearing the perfume that Teddy remembered his mother wearing on their last Christmas together.

They hugged each other, and Dr. Stoddard whispered in Mrs. Thompson's ear, "Thank you Mrs. Thompson for believing in me. Thank you so much for making me feel important and showing me that I could make a difference."

Mrs. Thompson, with tears in her eyes, whispered back. She said, "Teddy, you have it all wrong. You were the one who taught me that I could make a difference. I didn't know how to teach until I met you."

TEST OF SALTY COFEE ..

THE SALTY COFFEEE ...

He met her at a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he was so normal, nobody paid attention to him.

At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, and she thought to herself, "Please, let me go home..." Suddenly he asked the waiter, "Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee." Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red but still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it. She asked him curiously, "Why you have this hobby?"

He replied, "When I was a little boy, I lived near the sea, I liked playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there." While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched. That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home... Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family.

That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story. They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him! Thanks to his salty coffee! Then the story was just like every beautiful love story, the princess married to the prince, and then they were living the happy life... And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee, as she knew that's the way he liked it.

After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said, "My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life's lie. This was the only lie I said to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt. It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead. I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything... Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth, I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste... But I have had the salty coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you.

Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again."

Her tears made the letter totally wet. Someday, someone asked her, "What's the taste of salty coffee?" She replied, "It's sweet."

3 WORDS ARE NOT ENOUGH .....

3 WORDS ARE NOT ENOUGH ........

Girl: Do you really love me?
Boy: Of course I do.
Girl: I wanna hear you say it.
Boy: I don’t have to.
Girl: Why not?
Boy: Because…
Girl: I just want to hear you say it in words.
Boy: I can’t…
The girl started to cry softly and said:
Then you don’t love me…
The two continued to walk in silence. They
reached the girls home.
Girl: Why?
Boy: Do you really want to know?
Girl: (hesitantly) Yes.
He hugged her gently, kissed the tip of her nose
and whispered in her ear,
"Because three words are not enough…"

OLD N CUTE LOVE STORY ....

OLD BT HEART MELTING LOVE STORY

There was once this guy who is very much in love with his girl. This romantic guy folded 1,000 pieces of paper cranes as a gift to his girl.

Although, at that time he was just a small fry in his company, his future didn’t seem too bright, they were very happy together. Until one day, his girl told him she was going to Paris and will never come back. She also told him that she cannot visualize any future for the both of them, so they went their own ways there and then…

Heartbroken, the guy agreed. But when he regained his confidence, he worked hard day and night, slogging his body and mind just to make something out of himself.

Finally with all the hard work and the help of friends, this guy had set up his own company …

You never fail until you stop trying. One rainy day, while this guy was driving, he saw an elderly couple sharing an umbrella in the rain walk ing to some destination. Even with the umbrella, they were still drenched. It didn’t take him long to realize they were his girl’s parents.

With a heart in getting back at them, he drove slowly beside the couple, wanting them to spot him in his luxury sedan. He wanted them to know that he wasn’t the same any more; he had his own company, car, condo, etc. He made it! What he saw next confused him, the couple was walking towards a cemetery, and so he got out of his car and followed…and he saw his girl, a photograph of her smiling sweetly as ever at him from her tombstone and he saw his paper cranes right beside her…

Her parents saw him. He asked them why this had happened. They explained, she did not leave for France at all. She was ill with cancer. She had believed that he will make it someday, but she did not want to be his obstacle… therefore she had chosen to leave him. Just because someone doesn’t love you the way you wa nt them to, doesn’t mean they don’t love you with all they have. She had wanted her parents to put his paper cranes beside her, because, if the day comes when fate brings him to her again…he can take some of those back with him…

Once you have loved, you will always love. For what’s in your mind may escape but what’s in your heart will remain forever.

The guy just wept…The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside her knowing you can’t have her, see her or be with her ever again………hope you understand.

Find time to realize that there is one person who means so much to you, for you might wake up one morning losing that person who you thought meant nothing to you.

TRUE LOVE

TRUE LOVE .........

Once upon a time there was a fine stag who ruled a herd of deer in a forest and it had a beautiful wife. The doe was very devoted to her husband and helped him in all matters of life.

One day, the stag was caught in the trap of a hunter and the doe was very frightened as was the stag. All the friends of the stag left him. But the doe remained steadfast next to him and waited for the hunter to come. She was very devoted to her husband. As soon as the hunter came, she fell on his knees and begged, "Sir! please make a nice bed of leaves for me and my husband and then kill me first and then my husband and you can have a nice feast."

The hunter was so amazed and surprised by her love, that he went to first free the stag before he prepared the bed of leaves, and in a split second, the stag and the doe ran after being free.

DOES LOVE NEEDS REASON .....

Some people never understand..

once a lady while having a conversation with her lover asked:

Lady:

Why do you like me..?? Why do you love me..??

Man:

I can't tell the reason.. But i really like you..

Lady:

Why can't even tell me the reason.. How can you say you like me..??
How can you say you love me.??

Man:

I really don't know the reason but i can prove that i really love you.

Lady:

Proof! No!! I want you to tell me the reason.. My friend's boyfriend can tell her that why he loves her but not you..!

Man:

Ok..ok..! Erm.. Because you are beautiful,

beacuse your voice is sweet,

because you are caring,

because you are loving,

because you are thoughtful,

because of ur smiles,

because of your every moments,

The Lady felt very satisfied with the Man's answers..

Unfortunately, a few days later, The lady met with an accident & went to comma..

The guy then placed a letter by her side,
with the content as..

"Darling, bcoz of the sweet voice that i love you, Now can you talk?
No! Therefore i cannot love you..

Bcoz of the care & concern that i like you, Now that you cannot show them, i cannot love you..

Bcoz of ur smile, bcoz of ur every moments that i love you, Now can u smile..??
No! Therefore i cannot love you.

If Love needs a reason like now, there is no reason for me to love u anymore..

Does love need a reason..?

NO! THEREFORE,
I STILL LOVE YOU.."

LOVE OF 100 DAYZ .....

Peter and Tina are sitting in the park doing nothing, but just gazing into
the sky, while all their friends are having fun with their beloved half.

Tina: I'm so bored. Just wish I have a boyfriend now to spend time with.

Peter: I guess we're the only leftovers. We're the only person who isn't
with a date now. (both sigh and silence for a while)

Tina: I think I have a good idea. Lets play a game Peter: Eh? What game?

Tina: It's quite simple. You be my boyfriend for 100 days and I'll be
your girlfriend for 100 days. what do you think?

Peter: Okay. Anyway I don't have any plan for the next few months.

Tina: You sound like you aren't looking forward to it at all. Cheer up.
Today, will be our first day and our first date. Where should we go?

Peter: What about a movie? I heard that there is a really great movie in
theater now.

Tina: Seems like I don't have any better idea than this. Lets move.
(went to watch their movies and sent each other home)

Day 2:
Peter and Tina went to a concert together, and Peter bought Tina a key chain

but God would take him away from us very soon. We found this letter inside

The doctor hands over the letter to Tina and she goes into the room to see
Peter. He look weak but peaceful. Tina read the letter and then she burst
into tears. Here is what the letter said.

Tina, our 100 days is almost over. I had fun with you during all these days.
Although you may be greedy sometimes and less thoughtful, but these all
brought happiness into my life. I have realize that you are a really cute
girl and blamed myself for never taken the time to know that. I have
nothing much to ask for, but I just wish that we can extend the day. I want
to be your boyfriend forever and wish that you can be beside me all the time.
Tina, I love you.

11:58 PM
Tina: (sobbing) Peter. Did you know what was the wish I made on the night
there was a meteor. I asked God to let us last forever. We were suppose to
last 100 days so Peter! You can't leave me! I LOVE YOU, but can you come
back to me now? I love you Peter. I LOVE YOU.

As the clock struck twelve, Peter's heart stopped beating. It was 100 days.

UNCONDISIONAL LOVE

LOVE MUST BE UNCONDISIONAL .............

A story is told about a soldier who was finally coming home after having fought in Vietnam. He called his parents from San Francisco.
"Mom and Dad, I'm coming home, but I've a favor to ask. I have a friend I'd like to bring home with me."

"Sure," they replied, "we'd love to meet him."

"There's something you should know the son continued, "he was hurt pretty badly in the fighting. He stepped on a land mind and lost an arm and a leg. He has nowhere else to go, and I want him to come live with us."

"I'm sorry to hear that, son. Maybe we can help him find somewhere to live."

"No, Mom and Dad, I want him to live with us."

"Son," said the father, "you don't know what you're asking. Someone with such a handicap would be a terrible burden on us. We have our own lives to live, and we can't let something like this interfere with our lives. I think you should just come home and forget about this guy. He'll find a way to live on his own."

At that point, the son hung up the phone. The parents heard nothing more from him. A few days later, however, they received a call from the San Francisco police. Their son had died after falling from a building, they were told. The police believed it was suicide. The grief-stricken parents flew to San Francisco and were taken to the city morgue to identify the body of their son. They recognized him, but to their horror they also discovered something they didn't know, their son had only one arm and one leg.

The parents in this story are like many of us. We find it easy to love those who are good-looking or fun to have around, but we don't like people who inconvenience us or make us feel uncomfortable. We would rather stay away from people who aren't as healthy, beautiful, or smart as we are. Thankfully, there's someone who won't treat us that way. Someone who loves us with an unconditional love that welcomes us into the forever family, regardless of how messed up we are.

Tonight, before you tuck yourself in for the night, say a little prayer that God will give you the strength you need to accept people as they are, and to help us all be more understanding of those who are different from us!!!

ANGER AND LOVE HAS NO LIMIT ...

A HEART TOUCHING STORY .....

While Dad was polishing his new car,

his 4 yr old son picked stone & scratched lines on the side of the car.

In his anger, Dad took the child's hand & hit it many times, not

realizing he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, his child said "Dad when will my fingers grow back?"

Dad was so hurt.

He went back to car and kicked it a lot of times.

Sitting back he looked at the scratches, the child had written, "I LOVE YOU DAD"

Teddy's first grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is a bright child with aready laugh. He does his work neatly and has good manners... he is ajoy to be around.."

His second grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is anexcellent student, well liked by his classmates, but he is troubledbecause his mother has a terminal illness and life at home must be astruggle."

His third grade teacher wrote, "His mother's death has been hard onhim. He tries to do his best, but his father doesn't show muchinterest, and his home life will soon affect him if some steps aren'ttaken. "

Teddy's fourth grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is withdrawn and doesn'tshow much interest in school. He doesn't have many friends and hesometimes sleeps in class."

By now, Mrs. Thompson realized theproblem and she was ashamed of herself. She felt even worse when herstudents brought her Christmas presents, wrapped in beautiful ribbonsand bright paper, except for Teddy's.

His present was clumsily wrapped in the heavy, brown paper that hegot from a grocery bag. Mrs. Thompson took pains to open it in themiddle of the other presents. Some of the children started to laughwhen she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stones missing, and a bottle that was one-quarter full of perfume . But she stifled thechildren' s laughter when she exclaimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on he r wrist. TeddyStoddard stayed after school that day just long enough to say, "Mrs.Thompson, today you smelled just like my Mom used to."

After the children left, she cried for at least an hour. On thatvery day, she quit teaching reading, writing and arithmetic. Instead, she began to teach children. Mrs. Thompson paid particular attention toTeddy.

As she worked with him, his mind seemed to come alive. The more sheencouraged him, the faster he responded. By the end of the year, Teddyhad become one of the smartest children in the class and, despite herlie that she would love all the children the same, Teddy became one ofher "teacher's pets.."

A year later, she found a note under her door, from Teddy, tellingher that she was the best teacher he ever had in his whole life.

Sixyears went by before she got another note from Teddy. He then wrotethat he had finished high school, third in his class, and she was stillthe best teacher he ever had in life.

Four years after that, she got another letter, saying that whilethings had been tough at times, he'd stayed in school, had stuck withit, and would soon graduate from college with the highest of honors. Heassured Mrs.

Thompson that she was still the best and favorite teacher he had ever had in his whole life.

Thenfour more years passed and yet another letter came. This time heexplained that after he got his bachelor's degree, he decided to go alittle further. The letter explained that she was still the best andfavorite teacher he ever had. But now his name was a little longer....The letter was signed, Theodore F. Stoddard, MD.

The story does not end there. You see, there was yet another letterthat spring. Teddy said he had met this girl and was going to bemarried.

He explained that his father had died a couple ofyears ago and he was wondering if Mrs. Thompson might agree to sit atthe wedding in the place that was usually reserved for the mother ofthe groom. Of course, Mrs.Thompson did. And guess what? She wore thatbracelet, the one with several rhinestones missing. Moreover, she madesure she was wearing the perfume that Teddy remembered his motherwearing on their last Christmas together.

They hugged each other, and Dr. Stoddard whispered in Mrs.Thompson' s ear, "Thank you Mrs. Thompson for believing in me. Thank youso much for making me feel important and showing me that I could make adifference. "

Mrs. Thompson, with tears in her eyes, whispered back. She said,"Teddy, you have it all wrong. You were the one who taught me that Icould make a difference. I didn't know how to teach until I met you."

(For you that don't know, Teddy Stoddard is the Dr. at Iowa Methodist in DesMoines that has the Stoddard Cancer Wing.)

Warmsomeone' s heart today. . . pass this along. I love this story so verymuch, I cry every time I read it. Just try to make a difference insomeone's life today? tomorrow? just "do it". Random acts of kindness,I think they call it

WHY LOVE IS MAD

A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY ....

A long time ago, before the world was created and humans set foot on it, God had put all the human "qualities" in a separate room. Since all the qualities were bored they decided to play hide & seek.

"Madness" was one of the qualities and he shouted: "I want to count, I want to count!" And since nobody was crazy enough to want to seek "Madness", all the other qualities agreed. So "Madness" leaned against a tree and started to count:

One, two, three..." As "Madness" counted, the qualities went hiding. "Treason" hid in a pile of garbage.. "Lie " said that it would hide under a stone, but hid at the bottom of the lake. And Madness continued to count "... seventy nine, eighty, eighty one..." By this time, all the qualities were already hidden-except "Love ".

For stupid as "Love " is, he could not decide where to hide.

And this should not surprise us, because we all know how difficult it is to hide "Love".

"Madness": "...ninety five, ninety six, ninety seven..." Just when "Madness" got to one hundred..... ...."Love" jumped into a rose bush where he hid.

And Madness turned around and shouted: "I'm coming, I'm coming!" As Madness turned around, "Laziness" was the first to be found, because "Laziness" was too lazy to hide. "Madness" searched madly and found "Lie" at the bottom of the lake. One by one, Madness found them all - except Love. Madness was getting desperate, unable to find Love.

Envious of Love, "Envy" whispered to "Madness ": "You only need to find Love, and Love is hiding in the rose bush."

"Madness" Jumped on the rose bush and he heard loud cry. The thorns in the bush had pierced "Loves" eyes.

Hearing the commotion God came into the room and saw what had happened. He got very angry and cursed "Madness" and said since "Love" has become blind because of u... ..u shall always be with him"

And so it came about that from that day on, Love is blind and is always accompanied by Madness.!
